hey everyone! wondering if i could get some help. got my remote/key stolen to my aftermarket immobilier in my car, to my holden vt. only had the one. wondering if i can disable it or cut the cords lol. it wont start with just the key, turns on reds, makes a noise and thats it! can u help please. and no i am not trying to steal a car. thank you. emz
Well, look at the bright side;immobiliser is working fine, your car is safe :-)) Dont cut any of the wire/s.You'll never be able start it then,,,,,Get a sparky or one of those mobile installers, they know which is which.
you will need someone who knows what they are doing, probably an alarm installer would be your best bet
dismantle dash/console area until you find immobilizer control box
then trace each wire and determine what each wire does
then bridge the immobilized circuit
and moral of the story if you only have one key/one remote get a spare before it becomes a problem
sorry for my rant but so many people cause their own problems
thanks guys! i have located the box its a black widow, so many wires can i just dissconnect the whole thing (can the valent key be in the black box it self) n if i have cut the wires under the bonnent behide the speaker thing will it stuff it....!

no you can't just cut the wires
if you cut the wires to the siren it will constantly sound until it's internal battery goes flat (one wire will be +12v and one will be neg)so you will probably blow a fuse or something worse
you need to identify the immobilizer wires
follow each pair of wires you may have a valet switch hidden somewhere
do the wires lead to the ECU, BCM or shifter
when the immobilizer is armed does the car still crank over
exactly what model Black Widow is it, we can identify the immobilizer wires from the model number
ok thank u for ur information. i cant find the pushbutton anywhere, the model no. is a ok/9g. i looked it up and its not on aussie site, the device is on nz one. car doesnt crank over, but i can still listen to radio. thanks. em.
sorry I think that is a quality control number not the model number
please post the link to the site you found
check the following link and see if you can find one of these numbers
Black Widow Security
did you have a seperate remote or did it use your factory remote
at a guess how many wires out of your box and what colours are they and do any lead to a relay
no it had it own remote with 2 buttons on it theres 4 main ones that lead over to the fuse box thing and they r (black and red) , (GREY) , (black) , (black and white) http://www.blackwidowcaralarms.co.nz/index.htm it the same remote as this one...!
ok we will have to do it the hard way
do you have a multimeter or a test light
and do you know how to use them
i got a test light multimeter seems not to work :\...!
I have only just removed a Black Widow from the missus burnout car. Really easy actually. The coloured wires from the box are central locking wires, they can be cut off. The black ones are earths and immobilisor, door/boot/bonnet switches and siren wires. Find the two wires that go to your ignition wire, the ignition wire will be cut and the two black wires soldered to that. You need to cut those two black wires and rejoin the ignition wire, then just cut and tape off everything else. The rest of the wires are only spliced into the existing loom and don't actually separate anything. But this was on a BW-10000.
what colour is the inition wire and m i looking behide my fuse box thing...?
red/white wire from fuse 10 is control wire to starter relay coil
red wire from ignition switch is power wire to starter solenoid
how much do u rkn to get someone out to do it....?
probably looking $50 to $100
i just ripped the ####er out and it works thanks for all ya help....!
nope...! i just pulled the main plug thing out n cut the others off n pulled the box out n bam....!
Can't have been wired right in the first place then.
can it stuff up down the track....?
No, once the black box has been removed and the car starts, it won't have any problems unless something else goes wrong.
sweet as thanks for everything glad it was wired up wrong i guess lol.....!
