Default V6 and LS1 thermos different?

Hey guys well just over a week till summernats and my thermo fans have decided only one fan wants to spin, causing the car to get a bit hot, im going to have to source new ones fairly quickly so ill go see my local wreckers.

but i need to confirm if the v6 and ls1 thermos are different or not? i want to have a direct replacement with wiring plugs etc but down here stuff suited to v8's are hard to come by sometimes

I did a few google searches as you probably did and information is scarce, I did find something that said v6 one will fit but don't use the plug mount if that makes any sense? sorry couldn't be much help I looked through the manual too but it is too big to just scan through its thousands of pages and all in a funny order. good luck with it man hope you get it going and want to see lots of pics of the beast at the nats!!

not sure about v6 being the same,
though if you want optimal cooling go with ford twin thermos, easy to do.
