Hi guys. Vt 195i why is it slugish of the mark when you first start it even when the engine is warmed up its auto. If you let it run for about 5 -10 seconds it takes of fine but if you start it and put it strait in gear its a slug untill it runs for abit. Could it be a fuel pressure problem or ? Thanks for the help cheers.![]()

It sounds like for some reason your trans is going into limp home mode for a short time. Check out item 24 of 4L60 common problems and see if the symptoms are familiar:
24. Car feels sluggish off the line, No 1st, 4th or TCC lockup available, Manual 2nd, 3rd and Reverse are only available gears, CEL is on: Transmission is either in limp-home mode or has lost electrical power. If there are lots of error codes in the PCM, check the under hood fuse that powers the transmission, and if it pops again, look for a short in that circuit like an O2 sensor harness touching exhaust. Otherwise, check PCM codes for a particular fault in the transmission causing the PCM to put it in limp-home mode.
Yeah thanks mate for the info i will check that. If it was eletrical wouldent it run engine light on that thanks heaps Travis![]()
Becouse it only does it when you first start it even when the engine is warmed up it is slugish of the mark but after about 5 or 10 seconds it runs good thanks.
Any other info on what it could be cheers.
