Hi
I have a VT which mostly drives very nice, only every now and then it stalls and is hard to start. It cranks over ok but does not fire. Then after a little while it magically starts and runs normal. Any ideas please ??
If its a V6 then its most likely the crank angle sensor. When it stalls next, pour water down the front of the motor on the sensor (next to the bottom pulley). If it starts straight after doing this its the culprit
Is there such a thing as too much power?
I BELIEVE NOT
Just pour some water slowly behind the balancer (not too slow but not too fast as to waste it and splash it on everything else) wait about half a minute for it to cool down and fire it up.
Thanks for the replies, I was guessing this myself and you guys confirm my thoughts. Next is how do I go about changing the CAS ?
I have read some posts here about changing the CAS, thanks. A great site with good info, cheers
