    Default ls1 engine light

Been noticing for the past 2 weeks on a cold start up the vt ss throws up the engime light, turn the key off then back on and no light everythings fine.
And now lastnight driving home i went over afew bumps in the road and now the light is on and staying on. the car still has all its performance doesnt seem to be lacking . idel`s fine. just not sure what else to look at while im waiting for my scanner to show up.
I did try swaping over my TPS and no diffrence the light stays there after start up
    (Mods)(twin 2 1/2inch xforce system, pacemaker hi-flow cats,pacemaker tri-Y.)
Only thought i had was the o2 sensors

Would it be better to just replace them or get a tune done

it's more than likely either the o2 sensors playing up, or the oil pressure sender...mine did exactly what you described and it turned out to be the oil pressure sender. Cost about $70 for a non genuine one or up to $150-200 genuine from a dealer plus install/code clearing

Let us know how it goes because most of these types of scan tools won't read codes on an LS1.

Good to know. I bought a similar type of scan tool quite a few years ago and it reads live data but not codes.
OBD II 2 CAN Car Trouble Code Reader Scanner Tool DTC | eBay. I paid a fair bit more at the time.
