Loud noise from gearbox
as i was leaving work today my VX commodore made a real loud whining noise, and i lost all gears does anyone know what the problem could be?
i suspect the gearbox, but been told that the gear box dont make any noise when it goes,
America just kicked in yo
oh they make a noise when they go, mine went BOOOOM haha. definately sounds like the gearbox mine had the same symptoms, box full of neutrals

last service was over a year ago, its done over 230 thousands ks
Check the transmission dip-stick. If its brown then change it, if its black then its much too late.
Sounds like its just worn out though.
