vt commodore wont start

hey all..... i drove back from melbourne to harden nsw yesterday and out on the hume after albury my vt started to surge as if it was out of petrol (had over 3 1/2) and then came good.... last night i decided to reset the ecu so i disconnected the battery overnight and has just now gone to reconnect it to go out and its not starting... i get dash lights and everything but nothing else. it wont even try to kick over (like there is no battery at all)..... what could be causing this? would a simple jump start work or is it something more serious? please help asap.... thanks

Hey dude.
Cars aren't they fun. Bro try all the usually things first. See if the terminals are tight on both + and - and don't move. Battery could be flat, maybe your started motor might have died. Can you hear the fuel pump? I'd try a jumpstart and go from there.

hey mate.... yeah the terminals are tight... yes i can hear the fuel pump.... never had a problem starting the car in the past as well as all the stops yesterday... i alson checked all fuses and relays.... ill try a jump start and see what happens.... cheers for the reply bro
