Hey, just found some real cheap VE SSV's on ebay in as new condition, wondering if they would be genuine or not,
eBay Australia: Buy new & used fashion, electronics & home d
i emailed the seller and he told me it has this stamped on the inside
· C# D19A0
· F P
· 92173149
· A 472 Molds
· GM
thanks
If they're stamped GM , I'd say they're genuine. Hurry up and buy them before I do. Lol.
Just be aware you'll still need to machine the centre hole to 69.7mm, which will cost you another $75-$100.
The number starting with 9 is a GM part number also.
VX2 Executive Sedan - 3.8L Auto (for now)VT SS Sedan - Supercharged V6 Auto (Genuine L67 SS)VN SS Sedan - 5.0L 5 Speed Manual (Currently Balga spec waiting for panel and paint)
he hasn't got back to me with a picture yet >.< lol
does anyone elses genuine wheels have stuff like C# D19A0, F P, A 472 Molds or is it just meant to have GM and the part number?
there genuine that's a holden part number he's supplied for them, screw pics just buy them before someone else does.
there's no such thing as non genuine ssv's
was another thread i found here on the same topic and them VE SSV's have a different part number although everyone on that thread thought they were fake because they were too shiny, the part number on them was 92217688 and the dealer said they could of just been Holden by design or something,
Is this genuine, VE SSV 19" WHEELS?? [Archive] - Australian LS1 and Holden Forums
I have never seen genuine ssv's either i would say genuine watch out for cracks.
Put it this way. For 650 you can afford to buy them and if you dont like them you could get 650 back selling them in Melbourne or Sydney
Ok so i got a picture and one thing i notice is different to another picture i have seen on ebay, i have circled it in both pictures, the first picture is the one im wanting to buy, them things i have circled are different and in a different location, does this mean anything? sorry if its a dumb question. thanks

ok so that doesnt mean much then? look genuine to u? would hope all that dirty crap would wipe off easily lol
that proves nothing, just buy them, there's no such thing as fake ssv's lol
Pretty sure they are balance weights for when they get wheel balance or could also be wheel weights which i assume would be fitted once wheels are made to correct cast inconsistancies. Happy to be proven wrong
Cheers dan
ok thanks, he was only wanting to do local pickup but hes going to look into freight for me tomorrow, he said hes never done freight before so i hope it all works out, would you say it would be about $80 from Canberra to Geelong (Vic)
Seeing as he is so willing to take photos for you, try and get him to do some weird shit like wear one of the rims as a hat while wearing his wife's undies and post the results on here for a laugh.
3 threads still no wheels .. such an effort just go get a wheel and tyre package from a shop ... ask for kuhmos included . why do u want ss wheels anyway .
