    Default Central locking problem

    Someone help me!
The drivers door on my VX has to be manually locked and unlocked as the remote doesn't work for it. It hasn't really bothered me much, so I didn't bother looking into it. The other morning when I unlocked the car to go to work it also unlocked, and then locked and unlocked three or four times, but stopped working once I got to work again, which has me thinking it might just be a loose connection.

I went to have a look at it yesterday but had trouble taking the door trim off (I used a couple of threads for guidance). Everything came off easily except for my mirror switch. In the thread ("How To" Remove Door Card & Speaker Grill on VT-VX *Detailed*) it shows that there is a plug in the wires for the switch that has to be disconnected to take the trim off, whereas mine was just the wire, wrapped in electrical tape. I felt along it for the connector but couldn't feel anything so gave up and put it back together.

Am I stupid or is there another step that I missed to find the connector, and also, where abouts should i be looking for the wire?
    Cheers, Jack.

Its the door lock actuator they are known to go bad after high usage. Replace it and you should be fine.

Probably the last owner whacked it out, dont worry, let the door trim hang while you doing your work the other end.Anyway, connector should be somewhere where the red circle is(if there is one ofcourse).
