    Hey guys, my mum wants me to change the oil an filer in her commodore, an im just wondering where in the owners book does it say what grade oil i should use?

    Usually the index is in the back of the book. That will tell you what page(s) information about oil is on.

    Depends what your driving habits are, 20w50 is probably fine.

    First things first. What model commodore is it? and How many K's has it done.

    Getting up around 200,000+, an ecotec will be happier on 15w-40. If its had a hard life then 20w-50
