VU Ute stereo replacement

Hi Guys i recently purchased a VU Ute. It has the original stereo so i want to replace the unit and speakers. I want a unit that is ipod compatiable(blue tooth or cabled), if it is cabled i would like the cable in the console. I don't want cd or dvd but would like the steering wheel controls to work. I would also like handsfree capabilities.

So my question is is all this possible, if so how much do you think installation should be and any recommendations on units?

the steering wheel controls will never work with an ipod, but a cd they will and you need to buy a special cable for it.

if you want a headunit with the works/looks i would look into a double din HU, from Alipine/kenwood.

HU with everything you can pick up for 400ishh.. i think? or a single DIN with everything will cost about half that price.
install price from autobahn is about 90$.
and the cable to keep the stereo controls working is about 50-100$.

and as for speakers maybe some alpine type R's or some rockford fosgate speakers.

all the prices and stuff i mentioned was just a guess, from when i brought my stuff.

call 9529 8419 (Strathfield Vehicle Solutions) onsite installs. I work for them, tell them Pete (VT1GER) sent you. Can get a Clarion CZ501A with blutooth, hands free etc and we can get the aerpro steering wheel control module to run off it to allow the factory controls work.
