vt series 2 motor into series one?

hey guys just wondering im about to fit a new motor and gearbox to my vt wagon only thing is ive been told theres a difference between series one and series two? will the series 2 motor from an acclaim fit my series 1 wagon?

any help will be appreciated

haha man u had me worried there for a bit haha i thought they were the same not any wiring differences? will all series one stuff just plug onto the series two motor?

yeh. it will plugin fine.

if holden have changed anything from 2 to 3 pin or other such tomfoolery preventing you from plugging straight in then you just swap the sensor off the old motor.

a new motor always deserves fresh main seals, new water pump and thermo. only a few dollars extra and easy.
