Default VT series 2 LSD Diff question

After large amounts of frustration, searching, asking questions to mechanics etc im still confused.

Im looking to get a new/ or rebuilt LSD for my car with 3.7 gears

Now, im told up to vt series 1 it was the same, series 2 changed, but then the vy is different also.

I found a few clubby diffs with 3.46 in them, but people told me they also will not fit.

So. my question is, IS there a diff that will bolt straight in, that is LSD if so what car is it out of. Then il just go wack in some new diff gears.

I have a vx s2 (single spiner 3.08) and ive just installed a vy ss diff (3.07 LSD). it bolt straight in. the only thing i had to change was the back diff cover. mine had mounts on it for my ABS/speed sensors which the LSD diff didn't have for some reason. It was a simple swap the covers over job. easy as.

Get a diff from a VTII-VZ they will all fit. If you get a diff with a yoke (3 bolts) you will just need a tailshaft to match (not expensive).
If you dont want to change tail shafts then get the yoke changed back to a flange.
    Basically what vsl67 is saying.

found a decent looking diff but it says "has the 3 bolt tailshaft flange (no spigot but will run fine)"

How do i know if this will suit?
