    Default US ls1

This looks like a pretty good for the price , but i think the killer would be freight.

only if your running boost or stroker. not worth it for just standard bolt on or head/cam

if you want to run your engine harder upgrade your rod bolts (known to fail in LS1) oil pump and also valve springs

Any one who buys a Cast Iron block LS1, is planning to run more than just a simple head and cam package.

Freight would make you cry. I was quoted $90ish for a 5kg aluminium prop freighted from the US

you won't find it cheaper here

i think iron blocks START at $1k here...

what i would suggest is you get a mate in the US to crate it up and ship it over by sea if you're willing to wait a bit
