hi all

i have a vx ss recently it has started pinging.
it only pings when you first touch the throttle.
it is a throttle response thing not a load related ping.

i am aware this topic has been mention may times on just commodores, but cannot find a thread with someone who has actually fixed the pinging.

iv'e tried premium 98,
premium with octane booster
getting it tuned (mafless)
de-carb
changing knock sensors
checked loom continuity (broken wires)

and so far nothing has helped.

has anyone actually fixed they're gen 3 and successfully stopped it from pinging?

any suggestions would also be appreciated
