vt electric windows not working

so i just swapped my vl for a 98 vt commie and the guy reckons that his kid spilt coke on the electric window console switches , the passengers switch works but the others dont , not even the switches on the door . when i press the drivers switch on the console i can here a clicking of some sort , sounds like a relay but it doesnt make a noise when i use the other ones. do the symptoms soundlike the coke incident ? he could of be telling b.s . what does it sonud like to you guys? just trying to save some money before i take it into the autosparkys

Mine used to do the same thing, I'm assuming it was a loose contact somewhere, now whenever it does it, it used to be once a week now its about once every two months I just give the door trim a good bash around the middle while holding the switch and it works, could be worth a shot.

pull the window switch out and replace it the reason the ones on the door arnt working could be because the coke damaged the child lock switch you can pick them up for about 20 off ebay just type in vt wrecking and ask for one
