Hey Guys
Been having this issue for a while it comes and goes. Ocasionaly when i try to pull away from being stationary (like at the traffic lights) the car stalls. you just hear a pop and then nothing. it only happens on gas. It also happens when you try and accelerate but instead of stalling it struggles to accelerate then all of a sudden accelerates
Cheers Jonesy
try resetting the computer by disconnecting the battery for more than five minuets if this dose not work get it tuned
I'd be looking at the convertor as a starting point.
mine does the exact same thing and my system was fitted new 16 months ago
i've heard other commodores do it, i think it may have something to do with the split second lag ecotecs have
i wouldn't worry too much
EDIT
i only get the pop and stall after its stopped at the light for sometime and no struggle
get a tune call the gas gurus it's only $66 it's a mobile service so they come to you

I have been following this topic for nearly a year. Installed LPG on VX about 2 years ago - no problems for about a year then one day it lost ignition whilst i was slowing down approaching traffic lights - no warning - just lost ignition - rolled toweards traffic light. No noise - the main sign - apart from the red light - is the loss of power steering. Put the car into neutral and it will sart again easily.
This has been happening for a year now - can never tell when it's going to happen - but it is always under the same conditions when it does. Car is running well, slowing down for traffic lights or a roundabout or to make a turn - decelerating - and the engine just dies - red light comes on. Only happens on LPG never happened on petrol. Mechanic has had the car and cannot find a fault said he checked out the whole LPG system and cannot reproduce the situation.
I am very frustrated with it - usually it does not involve dangerous situations but sometimes it could - losing power steering unexpectedly and silently in the midst of turning in traffic - not nice. People on this forum have suggested checking the converter - I may go back to the mechanic and ask the question again. I have been keeping a record of every time it happens - about once a week - or twice in one day and not again for a fortnight.
Any more clues please?
mine had the exact same problem easy fix,
first take the engine cover off so you can see the throttle body, look at the bottom of it, you will see a peace of black right angle pipe with a hose coming off it, if the hose is off put it back on and glue it in place, the pipe goes from the throttle body to the drivers side at the backof the engin, check thatthe pipe is connected aswell if that is off do the same as the other end, glue it up and all the problems go away, mine runs fine.
