    Default Good vibrations!!!

    Hi guys,
I have a problem its driving me mad. I have a loud vibrating sound that i can hear in the inside of the vechile. The knocking sound is coming from around the top area of the gear selector & behind the dash/stereo area. Seriously its that annoying im ready to blow the car up. I know it may just be a mount or something stupid if anyone has had this problem please let me know how to rectify it. Thanks guys

It occurs when stationary only it happens in park drive & reverse. What mounts do you think?

    Hi

My VX was having the same issues, when in idle it would rattle and vibrate, and when accelerating hard, it would feel like the engine would rise, but there was no rattle when accelerating. I replaced the engine mounts in mine, bought them from Repco for $40 each (there was two) and got the local Holden dealership to fit them (i think it was around $140 labour).

    Hope this helps you out!

    Cheers

just jack your car up and have a look at your mounts to see if one is collapsed.
