where can i find a towbar tongue to fit a 98 vt s pac?
hey guys, just wondering if anyone might know where i might be able to find a towbar tongue to fit a 98 vt s pac.....im stuck out in Cowra NSW and theres stuff all out here, but the wifes in sydney for the week and i've been ringing around the wreckers down there, but so far i've found nothing.......any ideas?? also rung holden but they'd have to order one in and quoted me $75
The holden price is not unreasonable reasonable. Entire 2nd hand set ups on ebay can go for $200+. Is this for the removable toungue, or the whole setup? eBay may be able to help.....
I had same problem finding one there ar 2 places which will cost around $30 1)try the wreckers but make sure you make a cardbourd template with the holes lining up (this works fantastic) or try a sunday market there are many available for around $20 again take your template because neither on gives a refund. hope this helps.
forgot to mention prices i gave above are for tongue only depends on whether yours is a slip in or bolt on mine was a straight bolt ontype good luck.
just the flat tongue that bolts on, not the square type one.......i had an entire new tow bar put on my old VT for $350 fitted.......so $75 for a flat piece of metal with 2 holes in it seem abit dearOriginally Posted by c2105026

I bought one from Holden for my VX it was $45 from memory, to suit the factory standard 1200kg tow bar.
