Hey everyone i have a weird issue with my wh its sluggish off the line if u try to launch it it splutters but once you hit 100km it has full power ive serviced it with platnum plugs etc new oil im gonna be doing fuel filter this weekend just wondering if any one has had this issue before. thanks in advance for any advice. oh i should add it was fine before i parked it up for 5 months and replaced the box.
Spluttering or missing can often be caused be a faulty spark plug lead.

I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.
Does it have the same 5 month old fuel in it?
nah when i parked it up had 5kms to empty and filled it up with 98 before i started it have been driving it round for a few weeks and still doing it i will also grab some new leads as i haven't changed them yet the weird thing is runs dead smooth till you give it a bit i'm wondering if it may need a re tune as it has twin 2.5 inch exhaust extraters 4.11s and cai
Perhaps a dodgy O2 sensor?
That sounds like my vs, is it a 6 or 8, if it's a 6, have a gander at my thread about some problem solvers, I changed leads and it ran beautiful for a week then started, now it does it here and there.
Sorry, just saw gen3 in your op, but have a gander anyway, might be of some sort of help. If it's o2 sensors, just pull them out and give it a run, it'll run better If it is
Faulty O2 sensors don't usually make it splutter or miss.

Start with the easiest serviceables.
- Clean MAF sensor. You say you have a CAI which means most likely an oiled pod filter which eventualy means oil on the maf, which leads to incorrect readings, which can cause your spluttering.
- Inspect plugs. Replace if necessary.
- Dump a bottle of injector cleaner in with a tank of fuel.

i will be changeing the leads on the weekend hopefully as long as i get time already changed plugs and the cai is just a big mouth induction through the standard box whitch im runing a factory paper type air cleaner. thanks for the suggestions i will try them all to get it going well again.
