change the vt tail lights can i put monaro lights on

I wanted to change my apearance on the tail lights the monaro version look nice can i put these on a vt insted as i was going to buy a pair but need info first and also do i have to change the boot panel where the reverse light is?

Yes it looks better with the boot panel changed as well.

As I understand it mate, the best way to achieve the Monaro look with a VT is to do the following.

Replace centre garnish (bit with the reverse lights) with a VX garnish in your colour.
Change over to Monaro style lights and replace wiring loom with that of a VX.
Swap rear bumper to VX so you get the rear reflectors (unless the Monaro lights have rear reflectors).

Best bet is to go to a wreckers somewhere and grab most of those parts, don't know Melbourne to well and pretty sure there isn't one on Swanston Street.

I bought this car, has some sorta monaro theme happening.

Has no rear garnish. From my understanding is a Calais boot.
