5.7L strange noise

hey guys, just done a cam swap in my ute, 5.7L and now when running its making a real loud "whining" noise i initially thought it was the hydraulic lifters
gaining oil its been running maybe a minute all up. im really not sure.

does the whine increase with RPM?

you could take the serpintine belt off and start it for a few seconds and see if that stops it that will tell you if its coming from the cam or from one of the auxilaries ie. water pump, power steering or aircon.

deffs not aircon as its not connected bahaha, but i have to take the sepantine off now as i just got my new one
