vt s2 belina, noise coming from dash please help

hi all yesterday had a noise from my dash,
sounded like the hazard light were on ,but
when i got out of the car to look the brake
lights or parkers,, were flashing, not the blinkers.
took off then about 2mins latter it stopped..
it sound like when you open the car ...that click,click noise
any ideas please

flasher unit. Had same issue on the VB and on a Peugeot 306. replacing flasher unit stopped problem both times.

its the indicator stalk. they wear out and that's exactly what they do.
You may even be high beaming ppl as well, or will be soon

I replaced mine the other day. Genuine unit is now around $110 which is twice the price I paid 5 years ago.
You can get one for about $57 from Repco, and a little less on ebay.
Takes about finve minutes to swap over - have a search on hear for instructions on how to do it. simple as.

Yeah,I was high beaming other drivers,so took the stalk out,pulled it a-part,re-tension the connectors and put it back again.$0 cost,1 hr labour.
