Drivers window making noise while car is moving

Hey, for a while now my drivers window has been making a noise (best way to describe it would probably be tapping your fingernails on the glass) it only does it while im driving and will only do it when the window it fully up or just a a little bit down, if its not the window then its the pillar part (the part where the seat belt attaches) but im pretty sure its the window doing it.
any help would be great, thanks

Hmm, i wouldnt call my noise a squeak though?

Happens to mine, like a rattle almost. When up or down its fine, anything in between and has that rattle.

mm only happens to me when fully up or if i put it down an inch or so it will do it for like 5 seconds then stop, alot of the answers in that post were problems what have been fixed in the late VT and VX etc.. maybe the post at the very bottom could work (bit of wd40 or something) does a bad regulator make this sound?

Hmm, i wouldnt call my noise a squeak though?

I had the same problem you have described. That fixed it for a good 9-12 months and now im going out to my garage to do it again lol.

i had this problem quite bad, one of my window runners was half broken and not sitting in the window holder properly.

If it knocks around i usually just put it a little further up or down and it will stop. My opinion "deal with it"

take off your door trim and see if all your runners are on the window properly, they are oval shapped things. if they arent try and click them back in if they arent broken.
