stage 3 chip in a vt v6

hey everyone... sorry if this has been covered but im a noob on here. anyway i was interested in buying a stage 3 chip for my vt v6 as i was told it will increase power and make it run better. is this true? and what exactly does the chip do? (ive been told plenty of things it does)...

Nah its not off ebay or anything cheap and shit like that. Its frim a guy that bought it for 150 but then decided to super charge his car and now doesnt need it... But ill look up those 2 fellas,and ask them what they can do for me..... Cheers bro

If it's stage 3 then it's ebay. No tuner worth their salt labels their tunes as stage anything.

You would be surprised. People see stage 3 get excited and buy it.

Well I bought a sv3800 when I had my vp and now I have a stage 4 and there is no difference it seems to be running the same both had Buick engines once I have all the equipment I'm going to put these eBay morons out of business

No I will program them based on mods and for stock cars I'll make it more responsive without destroying the car and the ecu

i got a mace pro chip in my vt had for nealy 8 mths, so far its been good, car runs alot better, not lagging as much when you step on it, gear box changes better. $145 next day delivery

didn't know VT Commodes were in Gran Turismo 5

i tuned the vy myself and did an alright job at it, although work in progress. dropped half a sec of 1/4 times jjust by changing shift pressures so it didnt spend 2 secs changing from 1-2 and 3secs from 2-3 lol..a proper chip wont have stage 1, 2, 3,....456. it will have the bin. file used and only the customer and tuner will know what its been tuned for.

hmm.. no worries guys. thanks for all the advice. i didnt end up getting it anyway because if it was to stuff my car up then i cant affored to get it fixed. i slapped on a cai and getting a shift kit put in next week.. that'll do till i get off my p's then get an ls1 or something.. cheers peoples
