Poor Ac blower in vx

im my vx the blower works on all speeds fine but is a bit of an asmatic. when compaired to my mates vy. im guessing the hvac unit is the same so if i put a vy or vz blower motor in my vx it will work better? please help im in WA and the next couple of days are going to be 40 :/

They are all the same unit as far as I'm aware you would be better off sticking with a VX one. I never had a problem with the one in my VX but I have seen cars where the blower seems weaker. Let me know if you want a HVAC as I have a few removed and ready to go.

on my VS the air con fan seems weak, i eneded up checking where all the air ducting under the dash etc and where it connecets in sections its got some foam to seal the joins. On my VS they used some cheap foam that disinergrates over times. so i ended up replaceing the foam with some cheap crazy clarks weather seal foam for around doors in ur home and now it blows a hell of allot harder and colder. dont know if its the same as on your car but it worked for me

also could be that the fan bolt that connects the fan to the motor is a litte loose causeing it not to spin properly as i had this happen on my old vn although you could hear there was something wrong though
