Well i've known about this for quite some time, and now it's finally started to peeve me off. So when It pours down, my car seems to leak and the right hand side rear footwell fills with water, and stinks the car for the following days as it dries. I put my laptop on the floor the other day (with all my work and college stuff on it), and I came to my car this morning to find my laptop under half an inch of water, this was enough to kill it.. So I'm just woundering where this water is coming from so I can prevent this from happening in the future?
lol. I had the exact same thing happen to mine over the last few days of rain we've been having.
In my case door leaks have always been, and were again this time, the plastic door liner that is stuck to the door skin under the door card.
You need to remove to door card and seal any bits that have come unstuck etc.
Then get someone to hose th fvck out of it while you watch for any other leaks. Once all sealed up replace door card and be on your merry way.
Check the rubber door seals and make sure they are not damaged, torn, ripped, etc. When it rains, sit on the back seat and see if you can notice where the water is leaking into the car.

I just dried it all with a towell and hair drier ._. But for next time I'll sit there and watch it come in then trace it back, then I'll do what mummbles said. Now I have to air it out so it doesn't smell -.-
screw waiting for it to rain, just get someone to hose the hell out of it while you are in there looking.
I just tested my repairs from yesterday and it all looks good now.
do you have a sunroof
the water comes in from the rear small window
have a look at it you'll see the rubber seal curl back (standard holden leak) i fixed mine with windscreen sealant
LOL! I'm sorry to hear about your laptop going swimming bud. I've got leaks too, it rained last night, in the morning I put a towel down with some weight ontop, dries it up pretty nice.
