hey all, ive got a vu ss 6spd and the shifter is sloppy and doesnt centre itself properly. ive called holden and they recon they dont sell parts for them, just the whole shifter assembly which is $1000. you can get after market short shifters for around 400 but id like to see if i can rebuild mine first. ive pulled it out and it looks like some of the plastic parts have worn and the pins in the linkage have a bit of play

has anyone had this problem and found parts or another solution?
