hey guys ive got a vu with lecky windows and the passenger side goes up and down ok until it gets halfway then its slow to the top. ive put heaps of graphite in the track and doesnt make a huge difference, i havent taken the door trim off yet to look at it.
without looking at it properly does it sound like a motor problem or could something be bent?
Leaky window; suggest issue with bailey channel perhaps?
Did the problem start overnight or was it over months, I had a real bad squeak when my window neared the top so I had all the rubbers replaced.
On another make of classis I have I replaced the electric window motor and the problem stayed and after using a good quality teflon based product the window goes up and down so smooth I used it on all the windows and everything that slides, opens and shuts. Thats was 6 months ago and its still as smoooth as a babies bum.

Nulon Ezi-Glide is the best thing since sliced bread.
Had issues in my ford, tried numerous silicons, Lithium grease, graphite powder etc and nothing worked for too long.
The nulon stuff, after properly cleaning the window runners from all of the above, put that in the runner, up and down a few times and enjoyed hassle free windows for a year.
