    Default VT S1 Lowering question.

    Hey all,

First off if someone can clarify something for me that would be great, do ALL VTs have camber issues from factory or is it only when you lower it that the issue appears?

The reason I'm asking is I'd like to put lower springs in my VT, not super low or anything just basic lows,
But on the standard 15" Berlina rims and then on the 16" Calais rims I haven't had any camber wear issues, I don't know if in the past the car has had a camber kit in it but I don't want to buy lows to find out that I'll wear the hell out of my tyres.

If my car was to have a camber wear issue would it have presented itself by now, and if not would lowering it a little bit cause me to need a camber kit?

    Thank you

You shouldn't have any camber issues on lows if you don't have it now. I've got superlows with only minimal camber wear.

Get three people to sit in the back, roll the car forward a few metres, and then stand back and look at your rear wheels. If you can see noticeable negative camber, then you may have issues with low springs.
