mud flaps for 2000 vx sedan

hi guys i just brought a vx sedan , and i thru sum nice 18x8 rims on it , but now i relaise im gunna get stone chips all over the bottom half of the car , any one no if i can fit universal mudflaps to my car to stop this , i rang holdent trying to buy the p[roper ones for vx but of course they dont make them anymore , cheers muz

This wont help sorry but i have a set in my shed, they look heaps better with out them i have 19's an i dont have any stone chips on my car. Removed the mudflaps about two years ago.

Looks a lot better without them. Universal ones would look especially bad. Unless you're driving on dirt roads I really don't think you need them. I took mine off a couple of years ago too, I find you get more dirt on the lower sides of the rear bar but that's about it. If you really want a set, though, go to the wreckers and find a decent molded pair.
