I have a Commodore Exec 1998 VT wagon and have had a steering knock in the front of the Vehicle for about 3 years..The Knock gets worse as you drive the car longer and as the car heats up the knock will happen..Sometimes you have to drive in for at least 20 minutes before the sound is there. I have taken it at least 5 times to different mechanics and none of them know how to fix it..They've checked the engine mount and the nuts and lubed the rack but nothing has fixed it.. It really only happens when the car is hot and does not affect the performance its just rather annoying as it groans and creaks..It is not the power steering fluid either..Tried that the first time it ever happened. Anyone have any suggestions?
does it knock when you hit a bump? or an idle knock?
Starin at the world through my rearview
Go on baby scream to God, he can't hear you
I can feel your heart beatin fast cause it's time to die
Gettin high, watchin time fly
Link pin rods maybe, my VN did the same thing, one of the bushes had disappeared.. easy fix.. $20
