hold mode up is 1 and mode down with the ignition on release buttons this is on a calais aldepends on what charger you wan't

well it depends what you meen by hidden mode, if you mean digital speedo you need to get your holden dealer to enable it (there is hunderds of threads about this)

secondly (despite there is also hunderds of threads on this too) supercharging what il assume is a stock V6 is a very costly process, to do it properly and take full advantage of the modification the cost will often out way the cost of the car.... its not as sipmle as just bolting it on.

so short answer, if you have about 7 grand laying around go for it!

You dont need to take it to holden to get a digital readout of your speedo man.you can get heaps of stuff of the hidden menu and it wont cost you a cent i use it all the time including the digital speedo and taco .voltage.amps.fuel temp.reset service interviles.heaps of stuff i posted a thread on this months ago look for it in v6 dev and mods its to ez dudes cyas

but i do belive you need to go to holden to have it load up digital as standard every time you start the car, insted of turning it on every time you want it

ok, i might be taking a stab in dark but the mode and down menu looks like it has a function to calibrate the speedo and stuff like that due to diff changes, wheel size changes ect

when car is off hold mode and up, turn car on keep holding them, let car run for a second for good measure, then release them and you get a lovely noise and the extra functions. If you want to get rid of it mid trip pres up and down at the same time.

I think there is something in the other threads for a VS. I am not sure about a VR. And no, you get a new set of functions, to get the old ones back you have to go back to normal mode. Also you do get the electronic speedo in the extra functions.

my trip comp gives me 9 functions i think
fuel inst, fuel used, fuel average, distance traveled, trip time, ave speed, odo, others i cant remember.

Just give it a go, if you dont like it either press up and down or turn the car off and you are back to normal
