A little more information would be helpful, like when, how often, how long for any warning lights. What is loss of power, engine power or electrical power?

Sounds like a grounding issue or it could be the flux capacitor, who knows when you don't provide any details.

Sounds like your alternator isn't charging your battery properly. I would sus that out then go from there.

Get a multimeter and see how many volts there is when the vehicle is on.

Is your battery light on as well. A similar thing happened to me the other day, A/C turned off, gauges stopped working, ABS and traction off lights came on, but no loss of engine power, so I measured the voltage and it was 14.2 v at idle (at which point the battery light turned off) but when I revved it slightly it went up to over 15 volts. I didn't rev it too much because of the huge increase in voltage. I bought a new alternator and it's fine now. I could have just changed the voltage regulator but with the LS1 alternator the regulator is internal, unlike the V6 which can be easily changed. Besides the alternator is right at the bottom of the LS1 and a real pain to remove, it was covered in grease and crap so I thought why not just get a new one.
