My mate hit a wall while drunk afew weeks ago in his 2006 Holden Commodore VE SS Sedan,
He got his payout and kept the car etc.
But he needs extra cash and wants to sell the VE SS for $2000.
My question is ,would the 2006 6.0ltr from his car be hard to bolt into my VT SS without to much muck around?
if someone could slap a quick run down on what things id need to swap over etc that would be great.
Other then the motor and box the rest i was going to sell as i dont need the rest.

Yeah it will be a bit diddly but well worth the effort if you get it let me know id be happy to grab a heap of parts off it. Buy it for that price you can't go wrong .
Also how did ur mate get paid out if he was drunk?
I'm no insurance wizz but I would have thought any insurance would be null and void if you were drunk behind the wheel?
SS' don't have LS2's.
should be a l76 or l98 ????
Just stirring.... 2006 - L98 I think you'll find....
If I recall correct the L76 weren't used until mid 2009....
L76 auto (now L77)
L98 manual
LS2 Z series HSV and early E series
LS3 E series HSV
Cheers for the input guys, if i get it off him ill be posting up the rest of the car in Buy/swap/sell for anyone intrested.
Was talking to Mark from gentech he said the hardest part of the change over would be the single-4 window cam other then that it should be pretty easy .
