OK, well I might replace with a Stock system when the time comes. These engines are already fairly poor when it comes to bottom end torque, without making it worse! Cheers.

I would be doing roller rockers, diff gears and oxygen sensors. Even put some injector cleaner through the engine and open the plenum chamber up and clean all the carbon buildup (this is why you should use vPower).

I'm wanting to do all these things on my VX shortly to give it a bit more kick and improve my fuel economy.

i use injecter cleaner everytime i fill up. i was using w10 but told that was stuffing the motor/fuel system. so i went to standard fuel but might start using bp ultimate or shell vpower some sort of high octane fuel..how would i clean the plenum chamber? take the complete unit off the motor and do it that way and what do i use to clean it? cheers for all the advice huys.. i will be doing oxy sensors and look into doing diff gears but can diff gears fit a lsd?.. once again cheers guys..

I just used a rag and some carb cleaner to clean the plenum chamber.

should i take the plenum off the manifold so nothing goes into the motor itself?

Compared to 4 cylinders and stuff the bottom end torque is actually fairly good.

I don't know why you say it's poor. I have a 2.5inch exhaust and even 3.08 diff gears and my bottom end feels nice

yeh but its designed to be burnt up, when you use it on a carb you have the engine running. Plus it evapourates anyway buy the time everything is back together there is bugger all in the motor.
If the engine wont start afterwards push the throttle to the floor and crank it.

It's not the carby cleaner that you have to worry about, it's the thick black gunk that you'll scrape off that you don't want going down the holes. Stuff some rag down each hole, then before you remove the rag, vacuum the crap from around it first.

Oh right, yours will have gunk from the EGR. maybe you should pull it off.

It probably does feel good, but bolt a standard exhaust back to it and it will feel better.

Had the exhaust and extractors on it when I bought it so that might be why

Although my mate in his Vz acclaim(175kw) can't get away from me say from a set of lights or something

And daily driving I can get away with only using about 10% throttle If that... So the torque is there
