i recently snappe one of the four studs that hold the radius rod bushing plate.
does anyone know if this is going to be an issue, if so, any posssible solutions??
its the top left one on driver's side
Haha, I've done that at work once before. Ended up knocking it out with a punch and using a nut and bolt IIRC.
You could get a set of "easy outs" which is a screw type bit with opposite thread. Its for removing bolts that have the head f*cked out. Bunnings or and hardware shop have them.
or
Drill a smaller hole down the center and re-tap a new thread into it and weld a smaller bolt into it, then undo it that way. spray it with a lube of some sort to help remove it.

so what your saying is the bolt is not welded into the back of the frame and i can undo it or punch it out?
is it going to be an issue or can i leave it, seems like big centre nut takes most of the load.
thanks for tha advice!

They're only spot welded, if you can't knock it out easily take a drill to it.
You might have to use a 90 degree air drill though, don't think there's a whole lot of room to play with in there...
ill try that then, is it a big issue? can i leave it for a while?
If it were my car I wouldn't leave it but i suppose if you have to drive on it you could get away with it for a little bit. Probably better off waiting for someone with a bit more know how to answer that one.
