Faulty battery, new = warranty and replacement

However you may have an underlying issue. Get a replacement battery under warranty and see if it does the same

    What brand battery?

That could be it. My mate had a busted glove box and the light inside there would stay on all the time, it chewed through batteries till he figured it out...there was also something dodgy happening with his amplifier

If your car drained the battery to the point of failure I'm pretty sure they don't have to replace it under warranty.
