Default Water Pump VT - which model

    Hi All,
On my V6 I have a slow coolant leak from what seems the WP shaft when engine is cooling. Doesn't drip when engine is hot.
Attached photo is a selection from eBay.
Can anybody recommend the better wearing or more efficient model? The fins are more proud on the top picture, but are the fins more prone to corrosion?
    Cheers
    Mat

    Sorry, i re-edited the post.
I have a V6, but I'm asking advice on a more durable wearing rotor.

Theirs really now difference between the two. Just make sure you completely flush the whole cooling system before fitting. Any flaking rust or scale will kill your new pump very quickly.

I prefer the one with the cast impeller (the bottom one in the pic) over the pressed type. Just my opinion though.

Yeah, I was also leaning toward the cast impeller for durability, but the top pic might push thru more volume. I haven't taken the faulty pump off and I'm assuming it's original at his stage, but does anybody know what impeller Holden prefer?

Definitely the bottom pump, much better designed impeller over the top pump.
