Default Help with error codes and service reminder

Have previously had nothing to do with this model. Just bought a VT Acclaim wagon, in very good exterior and interior condition; only done 122230Kms.
Did have some issues; supposedly the engine mounts failing, and error codes showing on the dash. When it is turned on there is a charm (?) reminder and the dash flashes service 122,000kms then goes to a reading of 122230 (which does alter as it is driven) Sound and flash occurs when ignition turned off too. It had supposedly just had a service and 4 brand new tyres fitted at Kmart Auto (can believe that, new tyres, new oil, air filters, oil obviously fresh). Previous owner was after a pink slip for rego. KMart tried to rip him off for $700 for new engine mounts, and wouldn't give him a pink slip as they told him it would need to be taken to an auto-electrician to fix the electronic fault. In the end he threw his hands up in the air; then decided to sell it unregistered.....and then along came me.
The error symbols showing are in the bottom left of the dash - 1 is ABS, another says Trac Con and the third is the engine fault light. As well the oil light shows on.
Any suggestions?? Is there anyone clued up on this stuff that anyone elso knows of in the Bathurst NSW region?
    Hoping for some help here......

sounds like classic abs module symptoms, do a search for abs faults and see if your syptoms match
also sounds like service reminder has not been reset are you sure it doesn't show service 120,000 km flashing at key on

i just did engine mounts on my VT wagon. $52 each from repc. all day workin on it though. bit fiddly, and two of the nuts on one side wouldnt come off. cue cold chisel and hammer!

got it all done though. Automasters quoted me $800 for the job.

    Holy crap, $700-800 just for 2 engine mount's installed?? That's F-ing insane!, It's like a 1-2 hour job!..thats crazy!

Engine mount's are very easy to change! I'd suggest to anyone needing them done, if you have a jack then do it you're self...dont pay someone stupid prices to do it!..

Perfect example of why i never pay anyone do do anyting! Alway's get a half assed job that cost 4 time's over the original quote...

    Moving on...

    To reset the service reminder....

Hold down the up & down arrow buttons
    Turn the ignition to on
After around 3 seconds 'SERVICE' will appear
Release the up and down arrows
then when you hear a Beep
Hold the up and down arrows again and it should reset (from memory)
    All done.
That's that out of the way..

So now to get rid of the error's...

Disconect NEG of battrey......if you have a multimeter this may help too....
    Once battrey has been disconected
HOLD you're foot on the BRAKE pedal for like 5-10 min's < This is important, this is the only way to fully drain remaning power, headlight's, interior light ect will not drain the power, only brake will...Put a multimeter on the battrey lead's and you will see...
One you have been at 0.00V for 5-10 min's then you can go ahead and reconect battrey.
All error's should be reset....BUT, they will come right back if there is a persistent problem

    Good Luck
