I have 225/35 ZR20's on my Vx Ss and they fit perfectly?

Your pentagons have a wrong number.. You wrote 245/19 R20

It it's meant to be 245/35 then it should fit

yeah sorry m8, 245/35/20s for the pentagons, and 225/35s are the wrong load rating for the car so i was told by a tyre shop today

Then we have the same tyres except yours are wider.

Yeah I know man, bought them with the 225's on the rims. Gonna get 245's when they get low

I dunno if you know tyres but the first lot of numbers are width so my 225's have to stretch onto the rims

    tyres, spacers, coilovers.

find some tyres that are the right load rating, thats the only legal way to do it.

his 245/35/20s are ~7mm bigger radius and 20mm wider than yours, they get stuck, his 19s are 20mm wider and they rub. clearly his tyres are not fine. that is unless the actual wheel hits the strut, in which case the offset is wrong and he needs spacers.

225/35R20 and 245/35R20 are the same except a 20mm width difference.. 10mm each side. That could possibly cause rubbing, wouldn't cause it to get stuck.

Anyway that's my opinion.. Not too familiar with tyres so I'm gonna stop here

35 is a percentage of the width. do the math, then come back and tell me theyre the same diameter.

thats correct, the width may still hit the strut, but being smaller diameter than the 225 it might clear aswell.

Yeah, sounds like the 19's are wrong offset for the car is they are rubbing as the tyre the OP specified is correct.

The Penta's are not fitting because the tyre is the size you would run on a VE, too tall for pre-VE.
