Ive seen a few shots of the ecotech's and the fuel rails are different, some are a straight peice of tube with injectors pluged into that, and ive seen ones that look like the old VP style with the cover over them.

Your first description sounds like billet fuel rails. Ive just put a set on my L67 although I had to use the L36 design and modify them slightly as there isnt a set produced for the L67.
Is this what you mean? Sorry I dont have any close up pics yet as we were only trial fitting them when this pic was taken. They sit much closer to the engine when fitted correctly.

I'm not sure where my engine builder got them from...I can find out.
The rails I am using are a direct swap onto an L36 ecotec but you would need to alter and add the fittings to each end of the rail and onto the existing fuel supply line and return line. I had to alter the hold down straps due to the L67 having the injectors in the head instead of the L36 having its injectors in the inlet manifold.
