Hi,
I have done the VY into my VX.

There pretty much the same motor.

You are not going to gain much if any power.

Only that the VY is a newer prob less K motor
VT = 147 Kw
VY = 152 Kw
But this is all in the tune.

It is a strait swap, You wont need to swap anything over. Everything will plug up and bolt up no problem's.

Unless you swap the ECU and BCM to the vy you wont gain them extra Killa wasp's.

But yeh, If you are in need of a new motor i would suggest a VY motor, It's newer, Prob less K's than any VT motor's out there.
