    Hi everyone,

    I'm looking at buying a 1999 Series 1 VT s pack Manual Commodore $18000.
Has anyone got any ideas what the going prices are?

    Specs:

standard 3.8ltre ecotech 5 speed manual.
    150 000 klms.
    Window tints.
    Exhaust.
    SS front fog-lights.
    6 stack CD player.

Is this a fair price / should I look into anything?

    Brad...

    Hi,
mate look into auctions.a lot of auctions these days have r.w.c with the drive through vehicles! expect to pay between $7000-$11000 for a vt depending on condition and km etc. Try Fowles and Pickles auctions australia wide. Depend on whos there on the day and how bad you want it for final price. Just make sure you know what your lookin at panel and mechanically wise! But save $$ compared to delarships and private sails(thats were a lot of s/hand cars at delarships come from)

    Cheers Brendan

    Hi brad,

I would think that price is a little high... There are a lot of Km's there. I'd be looking for something around the $15k mark... I know someone who just purchased a 99 VT Wagon, with a stacker and 120 000 Km's for 14K. through a dealer...

Jut to give you an idea,

    Cheers,

    Robbie

Yeah that sounds high, when I was selling mine I was looking for $19k, and that was with 120k and SC6.

Probably look closer to $16k for that, seems to be a few around.

carpoint.com is another good source of finding the average price of new/used cars.
