I don't often see many quick V8's on LPG but have heard of some in the past which went quite well with the appropriate tuning, I'm obviously talking 5 litres and Gen III. The 5 litre V8's apparently respond well to mild cam work even on LPG. I guess we'd all like a quickish V8 which costs the same or less than a petrol n/a Ecotec to run per week.
I know a guy with a genT ls1 on gas(turbo)
That would be interestingOriginally Posted by minux
I have never seen a gen 111 commodore on lpg.I suppose there,s not much room under the bonnet.Does anyone now if anyone in victoria is doing conversions.
Any decent conversion centre shoudl do them, ive seen a good 10 at least running round on gasOriginally Posted by radiohead
I've seen cars with GENIII badging on LPG.. I've also been talking to a few cabbies who fill up at my petrol station.. They say the GENIII's fine on gas..
My parents wanna get a GENIII Stato and convert it to gas.. Sounds prettty good to me..
Progas are pretty good at doing conversions.. Did mine and it runs perfectly..
Yep injected gas systems if tuned right you can actually gain power, pity the gains are lost due to the extra weight of the conversion![]()
