Exhaust question vt s1 acclaim

If I had money to spare I'd know what to do. But I want a good sound for less money (for now).

What can I do to to the exhaust to make it a nice sound. Apparently you can make ecotechs sound very good. I have heard

1. Take the last muffler out, weld a straight pipe and put a tip on for looks.
2. Get the exhaust tuned
3. Get a whole new exhaust

Any ideas? I don't want a **** sound, I know you can't get a great sound if you don't want to spend money, but I am taking ideas for the mean time untill I save, before going to extractors ect.

have you watched videos on youtube of a redback exhaust they sound great and you can get them for about 200 dollars of ebay

Save up and do it properly. Cutting off the rear muffler may make it sound louder but it won't sound that good. Save up some money and do it once or don't bother. PM Not An Abba Fan as he does exhausts and is knowledgeable.

Yeah I heard about red back, it is cheap, this may be an idea untill I save.

Redback is cheap, nasty and are known to have a very raspy note.
