Default VX driver side electric window

Is there any way of manually getting the window to come up as i think the drive gear has been stripped. The switch activates the motor but there is no movement up or down?
    Thanks,

Assuming you've still got glass protruding into the window space grab hold of it with the palm of your hand either side of the window and pull it up into position. If the drive gear isn't totally stripped (or the regulator isn't broken) without the weight of the glass the motor should move the regulator up into position and hold the window there. It may slip a few mm when you're driving so it's only a temporary fix and the problem will return as soon as you wind the window down. If the window's all the way down you can try the same trick by taking the door trim off but access is severely restricted through the doorframe.

Thanks, for the tip. I will give that a try and hopefully get a new module in before the weather gets any worse.
