If it has factory included FE2 spec, it will say so on the stainless steel like badge which can be found under the bonnet on the right hand corner if memory serves me right
when i bought my vt2 about a month ago i was told it had "sports suspension". Does this mean i have fe2?
it seems to be a rougher but only very slightly

well there is no badge, and ive heard of this "sports suspension" in many commodores...
anyone know what it is?
On a VT II, the build info plate is on the radiator support panel. If you stand in front of the car with the bonnet up, and look down, it is just a bit to the left of the passenger side headlight. It will have info something like SUSP (suspension) FE2 or STD, as well as TRANS and DIFF codes. IF 9C1 appears in the build or body (cannnot temember) numbers, it is/was a police pack.
That's it.. it will be on the complience plate.. but only if it came factory fitted. if not I am not sure how you will tell easily.
Cheers,
Robbie
My Senator says it's standard suspension on all id plates. Maybe because this was not a factory fitting at the time of manufacture I'm unsure, but it sure does have FE2 or better under it.
