2 thermos.. but i ever only hear 1 running..

VX has 2 thermo fans, but i only ever hear 1 thermo running..

the second is an auxillary that comes on only if it needs to, u can hardwire the auxillary to the same circut if u want, thats if u are not moving alot of the time i.e u have alot of lights to work, holden made the car like this for a reason so id advise u not to chage anything as it was ment to b that way

how would i know if the second thermo is okay if it never runs?...

You say you only HEAR it running...have you actually LOOKED to see if its running? I find that when my VT needs to drop the coolant temp then only ONE fan runs....but when you turn the air cond on it always makes BOTH fans run regardless of coolant temp. Turn the A/C on and have a look. Also the fan relays have been known to cause problems too.

SUPERV6..... thx for the info, i tried what you said here to do.... and i did need to wriggle the relay and the second fan works fine..
