Vt series2 ls1 intake manifold

I have a series 2 vt and does anyone know which manifold part number 12560894 is. From what I've read it's a non egr one ore something. If so can it still be swapped with a ls6 manifold?

Don't know the part number but I do know the LS6 manifold will fit the the LS1. The LS6 manifold flows better at higher rpms than the LS1 manifold that's the only difference between the two.

LS6 manifold (from VX) will fit and flows better.

Ok. Does the vt series 2 injectors fit still?

injectors yes.

from the top LS1 and LS6 manifolds are identical, the only way to tell them apart is by flipping them over.

LS6 on the left (flat bottom) LS1 on the right (undulating)

The early LS1 has coolant pipes routed under the manifold, so you have to either swap to the later style or snap some of the fins off the bottom. I did the later. They come off easy as with big pliers or vice grips, just twist em off.

Injectors will fit, remove injectors + fuel rail as a unit and set them aside.
